Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

‘Anybody Give a Sh**?’ NYC Subway Riders Flip Off Man Trying to Lead USA Chant

(By Jonathon M. Seidl, The Blaze) - When the news of Osama bin Laden’s death broke Sunday, there was an inspiring video making the rounds showing NYC subway riders chanting “U-S-A!” That was Sunday. Fastforward two days, and New Yorkers in one subway care aren’t having anything to do with the patriotic chant.
