Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Toy Company Unveils Obama SEAL Team 6 Action Figure

Seidl, The Blaze) - Ever since news came out that the Navy‘s elite SEAL Team 6 completed the raid on Osama bin Laden’s compound and killed the world’s number one terrorist, the country has been fascinated with the unit. Now, that fascination has made its way to an action figure. But there’s a catch.

The new SEAL action figure doesn’t feature a GI Joe-style serviceman. Instead, its modeled after a beefed up Barack Obama:
