Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Ready to be Thrilled? See a Skydiver Jump From a Plane Without Wearing a Parachute!

(By Liz Klimas, The Blaze) - Not only does Greg Gasson jump out of an airplane not wearing a parachute once (see below), but he makes a living of such risky moves. Gasson is a stuntman with an impressive skydiving resume.

Here Gasson takes a dive with no parachute strapped to his back. Instead, he holds one, hanging on for dear life once it’s deployed. As Gizmodo writes, it looks like a pretty “shoulder-separating painful” moment. Check it out:
