Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

So then you are not upset with Miss Coulter because she has questioned your faith, but because she has painfully illustrated the dichotomy between your stated faith and your stated secularist views. You are upset with her because she has made the embarrassing point that secularists with spiritual views cannot rationally reconcile the two. To that I say you should remember the old saying: "Don't shoot the messenger."
