What part of mandatory don't you understand? Did I slip away and return to a different planet? I believe teenage girls are prescribed birth control pills all the time. What does that have to do with mandatory contraception? Do you really want the government telling you when you can and when you can't conceive?

And what's wrong with abstinence? News flash: Chemical contraceptives are a relatively new development. Is there a good reason why teenage girls need to be having sex? Do you really want to increase the numbers of teenage girls having babies? Next news flash: No contraceptive is completely effective.

Earth to Behethland...Earth to Behethland...Underage girls having sex is a bad thing. If parents taught that more, we wouldn't have such a problem with it. Maybe I need to revisit this one day when you have a 12 year old daughter. It's amazing how your perspective changes on things like this.
