Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Turtle Island

"I suggest you study their website again."
I've never looked at their website. The information I posted was from a pamphlet they published. The pamphlet indicated that the Wildlands project was a subordinate of Turtle Island. The pamphlet was intended for potential donors. It was acquired surreptitiously by a businessman who was being threatened by radical environmentalists.

I would suggest that the Turtle Islanders' attempts at separation from Wildlands is probably spin.
