Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

RE: RE: Black Gold Blues

Tell the truth, Behethland, you're posting this garbage because you want us to be aware of the dangers of rampant drug abuse, right? Does this guy even live on the same planet with the rest of us? 75% of everything he said was complete crap.

Remember that movie with Peter Sellers, I think it was called Being There? In it, he was an idiot savant who just went around repeating what he heard on television. That's what this guy Robert reminds me of. Except that he just repeats everything he heard Michael Moore say.
