Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

RE: Socialism vs Communism

I've enjoyed this debate on "socialism vs communism"...

Here's a summary of what is socialism and what is communism. In short, socialism is a social organization based on government control of the production and distribution of goods, and communism is a social organization in which goods (including property) are held in common... Communism is based on Marxist socialism . I hope this helps... :-)
