Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Socialism and Communism

Thereafter, revolutionary socialism, or communism, and evolutionary, or democratic, socialism were two separate and frequently mutually antagonistic movements.

Where capitalism stresses competition and profit, socialism calls for cooperation and social service.

Thank you Andy. Excellent explanations of both theories. I believe it's clear that socialism is a very broad term and can have many different forms.

No matter how broadly you define it, socialism has never worked anywhere it has been tried. The European middle class will never live as good a life as our middle class. Socialism spreads misery equally. Communism imposes misery on everyone.
