Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

RE: Godless Hype

Wow, what bullsh*t hype.

It sure is. Oh, wait, I thought you were talking about Al Franken.

There's obviously good money in perpetuating hatred and fear of your fellow Americans.

You betcha. Al Franken, Penn and Teller, Barbara Streisand, Alec Baldwin, Bill Mahr, and Michael Moore are rolling in it.

Folks like Ann Michael Moore do nothing but perpetuate communication problems between people who don't take the time to understand others... well, that and get paid handsomely for doing so.

Yep, you're right about that.
