Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

RE: British Police Thwart Aircraft Bomb Plot

The suspects were "homegrown," though it was not immediately clear if they were all British citizens, said a police official who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the case. Police were working closely with the South Asian community, the official said.

Mark Steyn should be shouting "I told you so" to the rooftops and beyond.

And what the heck is with this "South Asian" BS? Is the Brit press so panty-waisted that they are afraid to say "Muslims?" How about the dreaded epithet, "Arabs?" I imagine the Indians, Thais, Viet Namese, Burmese, Malay, and Jakartans in the U.K. are just thrilled with being lumped together with these jihadist nutcases.
