Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

RE: Speechless In Seattle

What has happened in Seattle prefigures what a national Democratic administration might try to do to stifle conservative talk radio.

As much as I really hate to be the one to do this...

Mr. Will, for 100 points, can you identify the political affiliation of one of the Senators who created CFR and who has announced presidential aspirations for the 2008 elections? And for the bonus round, Mr. Will, can you identify the political affiliation of the President who signed CFR into law after promising he would never go along with such and unconstitutional abomination?

Now why would George Will suddenly start shamelessly shilling for the GOP?
