Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

RE: Steve, preaching to the choir

Mighty bold of you, Steve. You really know how to win friends and influence people, don’t you?

There's not enough there for me to do anything with. Since you linked to my response to the Dean Smith, article, I can only assume it relates to my assessment of Dean Smith, Social Justice Christians, or a general remark on judgement day. Still, the waters are wide and dark there, so I've nowhere to go with it.
