Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. TV Host Bill Maher Suggests Dick Cheney's Death Would Save Lives

WASHINGTON (Fox News) - More people in the world would live if Vice President Dick Cheney died, political commentator Bill Maher said, raising few eyebrows despite suggesting the death of the U.S. vice president would be a good thing.

At least He didn't use the "F"-word (what a considerate host). He could have scored more points if he included Bush in his comments. This comment should get him an exclusive interview with Keith Olbermann.
