Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Spitzer is a fool.

This is Eliot Spitzer's wife:

Those hookers must have really been something special for him to step out on a good-looking woman like her.

Then again, the old saying goes that no matter how good looking she is, there is some guy, somewhere who is tired of putting up with her crap.

You're right, she is a good looking woman. I wonder what she sees in him. It's not like he got to where he's at today on his looks.
