Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Vitriolic Flashback: During Illegal Immigration Debate, Pima Co, AZ Sheriff Clarence Dupnik Calls Opponents ‘Racist’



(Breitbart.tv) - The same man who accused talk radio and cable news shows of inciting violence by using vitriol had no hesitation in labeling proponents of Arizona's illegal immigration law as "racist". Ironically, he made the comment on a vitriolic cable news show.
