The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. WTQR 104.1 Relaunches as "New Country Q 104-1"

GREENSBORO N.C. (WGHP) - Clear Channel-owned WTQR 104.1 relaunched as 'New Country Q 104-1' on Friday.

The station made the announcement Friday in a news release. The station said it will play "new country music", as opposed to a mix of new and old country music in the old format.

In the news release, the station said it will "start the workday everyday at 9 a.m. with 104 minutes of commercial-free country music." The station also said it will play 104 minutes of commercial-free music at least 3 times a day.
