Calif. Man Decapitated in Freak Wood Chipper Accident

(By Jonathon M. Seidl, The Blaze) - A 50-year-old tree trimmer from California died this week when his body became entangled in an industrial wood chipper.

According to reports, Martin Lara didn’t die by being shredded in the trimmer. Instead, he was decapitated by a rope that was attached to a tree, and the shear force of that rope, which was wrapped around his upper body, being pulled into the device is what led to his death.
