Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Steve responds to Behethland:

I'm sure it's fine for you to be concerned with what goes on outside your own state, but if you want to have a voice in what happens in another state, you would probably have to move there. The federal government is expressly forbidden by our constitution to regulate private property within the states. All this order does is restore constitutionality to the behavior of the executive branch.
