Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

Bush's ineptitude

"...declaring war on sovereign nations, lying about our reasons for going and waiting 3 days before responding to the nation's deadliest natural disaster."

Didn't Congress pass a resolution authorizing the president to use force against Iraq as he saw fit??? Didn't Kerry, Clinton, and other liberal Democrats vote for this resolution??? What did Bush lie about (remember, a lie is deliberately making a false statement). And I'm guessing that you haven't read any of my posts detailing who does what in national emergencies (and Katrina wasn't the nation's deadliest natural disaster). It's easy to look this stuff up on the internet... You know if I can do it, then anybody can. :-)
