Bully Pulpit

The term "bully pulpit" stems from President Theodore Roosevelt's reference to the White House as a "bully pulpit," meaning a terrific platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. Roosevelt often used the word "bully" as an adjective meaning superb/wonderful. The Bully Pulpit features news, reasoned discourse, opinion and some humor.

RE: Vernon Robinson wins 63% in 13th District primary vote

On the news last night, they interviewed one of Vernon's opponents in the GOP primary, John Ross Hendrix... He said that not only was he NOT going to vote for Vernon in the fall, but he was going to switch his registration to Democrat first thing this morning and support Brad Miller... Ha! :-)
