Laura Ingraham Discusses Abortion With Father Who Helped Pay For His Daughter’s Procedure

(By Alex Alvarez, Mediaite) - On her radio show [yesterday], Laura Ingraham took on the ongoing controversy surrounding the decision to take down an anti-abortion billboard claiming that “the most dangerous place for an African American is in the womb.” Ingraham’s guest was Pastor Stephen Broden, who is on the board of director for Life Always, the group behind the billboard.

During the show, she took a call from Will, a black Baltimore resident who defended his daughter’s abortion, for which he helped pay. Ingraham asked Will quite a poignant question about his experience: Does he consider the aborted child (…or fetus, or baby. We’re well aware that word choice is important in this situation.) his grandchild?

No ma‘am, I do not. I just have different views, I’m not here to… I listen to your show, I don’t agree with a lot of the things, but I was glad you even put the call out there for African-Americans to call in. Mr. Broden and I have a difference of opinion.
